STRESS

Being ‘stressed’, a phrase so frequently used in the late twentieth century, generally refers to the body’s failure to adapt and cope with internal and external stress factors. This inablility to manage the stress can manifest itself physically and psychologically and can result in the development of a variety of stress-related illnesses and health conditions.
